Dog Daycare includes supervised fun and play. Try not to be envious as you watch your pets having a wonderful time playing on the live web cam while you work. Your pet would do the same for you if they could.

Our program is designed to provide your dog with a socialization experience playing and exercising with friends in a safe, supervised environment. By giving dogs the opportunity to use-up energy mixed with scheduled nap-times while your pet is in daycare, we give the busy pet owner a well-rested, exercised, happy pet in the evening.

US$18.00 for a full day. US$12.00 for ½ day (Valid May 2011)

Any pet attending daycare at PetsVentura Pet Day Care must be up-to-date on inoculations including Rabies and fecal float.

Please present proof of shots at initial check-in. We will be happy to administer your Pet’s medications at minimal  additional charge.

Requirements for Pet/s to Stay in PetsVentura Pet Hotel

Requirements :

Who may attend?

1) Dogs at least four (4) months of age2) Dogs who have been socialized 
    with other dogs
3) Dogs who are in good health (no fleas, ticks, or contagious illnesses)
4) No females in heat
5) Dogs who have the following vaccinations: Rabies

For the health and safety of our guests, all dogs and cats must have up-to-date records for all of the vaccinations.



Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian.

We prefer that vaccinations be administered 10 days prior to check-in


Written proof of the following are required for all guests:









Dog Vaccinations:

DPP*	One or three year vaccine required
Bordetdella	Bordetdella Required every twelve months. Please note, many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.
Rabies	One or three year** vaccine required

*Distemper, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza
**Rabies per local ordinance

Crisis in hotels for dogs

The same situation of low capacity in hotels for people; the hotels for dogs are registering a widespread decline. In summer 2009 there is reduction of 50% of registration dogs and cats for boarding.

This means that most of the families re-think of their vacations and of course they don't have much money for boarding their dog in Boarding - Kennels, and they are looking for other options. It is certainly a very unpleasant situation, since 429 dogs and cats are abandoned every day and the situation every summer and it is worse especially this crisis time.

Some hotels for dogs and cats are offering very good prices, as they hope to attract the attention of the owners, mainly which look for place to stay for their dog while they can enjoy the vacations

HILTON HOTELS PET FRIENDLY PROGRAM

 

Hilton has just started offering their "Hilton Pet Friendly" program in all of their hotels. The amenities under their pet-friendly program include a welcome package of the following:

Organic treats , Pocket size packet of bio-degradable, Waste bags, Travel tote made of Crypton® Super Fabric, Travel-sized bottle of disinfectant,

Deodorizer & one-step cleaner for pet stains and smells &  Hilton pet collar tag.

These amenities don't come for free -- a $75 USD non-refundable deposit is required for all Pet Friendly rooms and pets must weigh under 75 pounds. Dogs weighing over 75 pounds will be allowed, but only at the discretion of the hotelier.
