Uzbekistan Airways - Localization gone wrong
If you browse the Internet in search of examples when marketing materials were poorly localized, there will be plenty of them. As more and more people travel around the world, local airline companies are looking to attract those tourist/business dollars. Advertisement in foreign language is the only way for them to get their word out. Uzbekistan Airways in an attempt to lure the foreigners went ahead with their slogan being translated into English.
